Well I want to apologize for not releasing as many textures, brushes, and patterns lately. It's because I finally decided to write a freeware Windows application for viewing, organizing, and exporting brushes to .png's. Go ahead and check it out if you're interested and remember this is version 1.0! Texturemate users can submit feature requests and bug fixes from their Profile Page.

Thirty new texture stock images are up today! They are a mixture of brick, cement, wood, and metal. There are some pretty nasty, cracked, grungy ones. I also uploaded another graphic resource - a pattern set of 30 seamless small pixel patterns! Hope you find them useful! You might notice comments and things are starting to have user avatars; I'm working on getting the site ready for registered users!

I had a chance to upload 60 new textures today of various categories. There are some pretty good grungy, cracked cement textures as well as some fall leave textures that might be good for a fall project. I also managed to get a decent amount of good looking wood textures and a couple of clouds. I also uploaded a brush set of stars that I created as well! Hope you like them!

Lately, creating brush sets in .abr format has been my favorite means to manage my brush collection. A single .abr file can contain multiple brushes, which makes it a lot easier to manage large amounts of them. Gimp 2.4 and higher can also read brushes from .abr files, so there are no longer any compatibility issues in maintaining brushes between Photoshop and Gimp. I feel that the .gbr brush format used by Gimp is dead, so I no longer bother with it.
