Hello, and thanks for stopping by texturemate. My name is Bill Scott and this is my online repository where I share any textures, stock photos, brushes, or other design resources I create with others online! Professionally, I am an electrical engineer, with occasional website or graphic design work here or there. My hobbies include photography, graphic design, web design, and 3d modeling. I recently started Ascended Arts as a legitimate business for my artwork or web design services. Even more recently, I decided to create texturemate to share my original resources with others online.

Besides sharing textures and brushes, I will occasionally post an article or guide on anything I think is useful. I switch between Adobe Photoshop and Gimp quite regularly, favoring one over the other for different tasks. This means that sometimes I will post a guide in Photoshop, and sometimes in Gimp.
