You can export as many brushes as you want to .png files in one step with abrMate. First, open all Adobe Photoshop .abr files you would like to convert to .png images by opening them one at a time or whole directories at once. Now click the button on the left titled 'Export All Open Brushes to .png's'.
With Any Brushes Open, Click 'Export All Open Brushes to .png's'.png
A folder browser dialog will be displayed asking you to select the Windows folder you would like all .png's to be created in. You can also create a new folder here as well.
Select or Create a Folder to Export .png's to
After you have selected a folder and clicked 'Ok', the .png exporting process will begin. Each Adobe Photoshop brush .abr file that is currently open will be scanned and each brush will be converted to an original resolution .png image with transparency. If you have many brushes to convert, you can watch the progress bars in the lower left to see the progress of the .png conversions. When the process is complete, the Windows folder you selected will be displayed and should now have a .png of each brush in it!
All Brushes will be Exported to Transparent .png's in your Windows Folder
Why would you want to convert brushes that have been packaged into Adobe Photoshop .abr files into individual .png images? There are a couple reasons. Perhaps you want to make edits to a brush before you use it again. Perhaps you use another piece of graphic design software besides Adobe Photoshop such as Paint Shop Pro or an older version of Gimp and you have a brush set you would like to use in that piece of software. You can also take .png's from brushes and now create your own brush sets organized the way you like in Adobe Photoshop. Whatever the reason for needing .png's, here's an easy way to get them!

Sounds like a very interesting program. So a png file is just so you can view each individual brush? When you convert a abr file into a png file the abr file is still there to use?

I downloaded your cool sounding program, but when I tried to open it, I received an error message that said I needed .NET Framework V4 to run the program. What did I do wrong? Thanks.
