I didn't really know what to call this free brush set... I figured I created it with some steel wool brush bristles, so it will be my steel wool brush pack! These brushes are kind of similar to my splatter brushes but the steel wool bristles definitely give the ink blotches a 'sharper' bristle effect. These brushes are actually pretty fun to use to make grungy background textures. I hope you find the brush set useful! The download contains an .abr file with the entire set. These brushes are compatible with Adobe Photoshop 7 and newer (CS1, CS2, CS3, CS4, and CS5!) as well as Gimp. If you have another piece of software such as Paint Shop Pro and want each brush as a .png, remember my free software, abrMate can convert them for you!

Wicked brushes! These can be used to make some awesome textures! They are so spiky and pointy, nice work!
